Previous Session

Major U.S. indices closed lower on Tuesday, June 28, in mixed volume. Dow Jones Industrial Average and Dow Jones Transportation Average traded in lower volume. Major indices opened higher but turned around in the first hour of trading and then traded lower for most of the day.
